The hands side, in order
Bail first
Step a hand round and cartwheel out.
Cartwheel both ways
Entry and exit, on your weaker side too.
Straight-arm push
Shoulders to the ears, arms locked.
Sound familiar?
- Handstands learned piecemeal from clips
- No reliable bail when it tips over
- Wrists already take a beating from vaults
- One side much better than the other

In Ben’s words
Ben Lowrey started learning handstands in 2013, came to hand balancing through yoga and began teaching at the end of 2015.
“If you fall over, you're going to step one hand round and it'll just cartwheel you out.”
“If you're not feeling confident, I want you to put a crash mat in front of you”
“The third thing is we're going to maintain an attitude of playfulness and experimentation.”

Parkour handstand questions
What happens after 30 November?
The founding price of £47 is for purchases made by the end of 30 November 2026, UK time. From 1 December 2026 the library costs £67. Buying at £47 gets you exactly the same access, and the same 14-day refund, as buying at £67.
Do I need a handstand for parkour?
Not to start. A controlled handstand and a reliable bail give your hands-on-the-ground moves a base.
How do I bail out of a handstand safely?
Step one hand round and cartwheel out. Ben teaches the way down before the balance.
Cartwheel or handstand first?
Learn the cartwheel early: it's both an entry and your exit.
Does this teach vaults or kongs?
No. It teaches handstands and cartwheels only.
Why pay £47 when there are free videos?
The tutorials and drills are free. The library adds the full courses and a 12-week order.

Who it isn’t for
- It is not a quick fix. There are no promised timelines: a handstand takes regular practice over time.
- It is not live coaching. The library is recorded teaching, so nobody watches or corrects your form.
- It is not for anyone a doctor or physiotherapist has told to avoid being upside down.
- Ben says himself that the press to handstand is not right for every body.
