CircoplexCookie Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. This page lists every cookie Circoplex uses, what it is for and how long it lasts.
Our approach
- Optional cookies stay off until you say yes. Nothing from Google or Meta loads before you choose.
- When you say yes, we load Google Tag Manager, which then runs only the tools you allowed (Google Analytics for Analytics, the Meta Pixel and Google Ads for Advertising). Google Tag Manager sets no cookies itself.
- Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and you can accept analytics and advertising separately.
- You can change your mind at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer, or here:
Cookies on this site
| Cookie | Set by | What it does | Type | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|---|
circoplex_consent | circoplex.com | Remembers your cookie choice. It is only created once you make a choice. | Strictly necessary | 6 months |
circoplex_ab | circoplex.com | Remembers which version of a page you saw while we test wording, so you see the same version next time. Only set if you accept Analytics cookies. | Analytics (needs your consent) | 3 months |
_ga | Google Analytics | Tells one visitor from another so visits can be counted. | Analytics (needs your consent) | 2 years |
_ga_0S1H5MD2CK | Google Analytics | Keeps track of the current visit (session). | Analytics (needs your consent) | 2 years |
circoplex_partner | circoplex.com | Remembers the partner (a teacher or creator who recommends Circoplex) whose link you used, so they can be paid commission if you buy later. Holds only their partner code and the date. Only set if you accept Advertising cookies. | Advertising (needs your consent) | 30 days |
_gcl_au | Google Ads (Conversion Linker) | Lets Google Ads tell us whether a visit or purchase came from one of our Google adverts. | Advertising (needs your consent) | 3 months |
_gcl_aw | Google Ads (Conversion Linker) | Remembers which Google advert you clicked. Only set if you arrive from one. | Advertising (needs your consent) | 3 months |
_fbp | Meta Pixel | Identifies your browser so Meta can measure our adverts. | Advertising (needs your consent) | 3 months |
_fbc | Meta Pixel | Remembers which Facebook or Instagram advert you clicked. Only set if you arrive from one. | Advertising (needs your consent) | 3 months |
When you accept Analytics or Advertising, Google and Meta may also set cookies on their own websites (for example google.com, doubleclick.net or facebook.com). Those are controlled by those companies; see Google’s cookie policy and Meta’s cookie policy.
Videos
Our videos are hosted and streamed by Mux. Each cover picture is a still from that video, served by our own site, so nothing is requested from Mux until you press play. When you do, Mux streams the video to you and sees your IP address and browser details, as any website you load from does. The player sets no cookies and sends no viewing analytics, whatever you choose in Cookie settings, so videos need no cookie consent. In Chrome, pressing play also loads Google’s Cast library (from gstatic.com) for sending the video to a TV.
Controlling cookies in your browser
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you delete the circoplex_consent cookie we will ask for your choice again on your next visit. Blocking all cookies does not stop you using this site.
