Sound familiar?

  • Clients ask for handstands; you've never been taught
  • Professionals disagree: mobility or strength?
  • No trusted progression to follow
  • You want cues that work, not theory

In Ben’s words

Ben Lowrey started learning handstands in 2013, came to hand balancing through yoga and began teaching at the end of 2015.

“There's three angles that we need to think about. It's very simple.”

Before you sign up

“Is it a qualification?”
No. It's a technique library, not a certificate or CPD.
“Is it evidence-based rehab?”
No clinical claims. It's how a circus hand balancer teaches the skill.
“I'm not a hand balancer.”
That's who it's for: learn the positions yourself, then coach them.

Teaching handstands: questions from coaches

What happens after 30 November?

The founding price of £47 is for purchases made by the end of 30 November 2026, UK time. From 1 December 2026 the library costs £67. Buying at £47 gets you exactly the same access, and the same 14-day refund, as buying at £67.

How do I teach a handstand to an adult client?

The order Ben teaches: wall toe taps, the way down, shoulder work, then entries away from the wall. One cue at a time.

What are the most useful cues?

Ben's core cues: push the floor away, shoulders to the ears, ribs in, and let the fingers balance.

Can I use this for CPD?

It isn't accredited for CPD and isn't a qualification. It's a technique library for your own learning.

Does it cover rehab or clinical screening?

No. It's technique teaching. Clinical decisions stay within your own professional scope.

Do I need my own handstand to coach one?

It helps to have felt the positions. The library is built so you can learn them yourself first.

Who it isn’t for

  • It is not a quick fix. There are no promised timelines: a handstand takes regular practice over time.
  • It is not live coaching. The library is recorded teaching, so nobody watches or corrects your form.
  • It is not for anyone a doctor or physiotherapist has told to avoid being upside down.
  • Ben says himself that the press to handstand is not right for every body.
